Earlier on in Spring, my friends and I went to the Delaware Water Gap national park (in New Jersey and Pennsilvania) for a hike. It was quite lovely, so we went again later in the Spring, and instead of blushing nudes the trees were dressed in full spring attire, and the insects were out in force! Here are a few photographs.

Anja's Car  We left OLabs at 9:30am, and here is Peer and Anja. Anja works with me at OLabs. She is from Germany, and Peer is a friend visiting from Germany.
The Delaware River  This is the river through some trees from the lot where we parked.
Mummy Spider  We actually hiked on Mother's day. This spider was carrying a big egg sack (I think). A picture seemed appropriate.
Lunch Time!  We hiked to Catfish Pond and partook in left over pizza and strawberry jam and cheese sandwhiches. OK, I ate the sandwhich, Anja and Peer ate the pizza. Did you ever have strawberry and cheese sandwhiches? They're very good!
Anja and Peer by the Fire Tower  This fire tower was at the peak of a portion of the Appalachian trail we did. Unfortunately, there was a No Tresspassing sign. Even more unfortunately, there was somebody working for the park nearby. So we didn't climb up.
Anja, Alison and the View  Despite not seeing it from the fire tower, the view was still nice.

Zooming in on the Farm House  I really have to learn to use the camera better.
Pretty Falls  This is towards the end of our hike.

Back to NJ  Reality soon slapped us in the face. Home time.
